An educational coloring book about Scandinavian folklore aimed towards a young adult audience. The intention is to educate about the various myths and creatures within the rich culture as well as the lessons those stories were meant to teach.
The biggest use of folklore stories were to warn people of various dangers in the world and give them an explanation. The use of mixing heavy and thick lines within the illustrations are to bring a storybook-like quality while emphasizing the creature of myth within the environment they reside in. Various creatures were chosen to highlight this range including the Nacken, a water spirit; Skogsra, forest spirit; Trolls, cave dwellers; Nattmara, home intruder; and Pesta, a village passerby.
